Is this door jammed?

The Word says in Revelation 3:7 That God shuts doors that no man can open, and opens doors that no man can shut.
It is our job to step through the right door at the right time.
Timing is everything in the Spirit, that is why we are oftentimes told to wait.
Jesus had perfect timing. The Word is continuously saying, and when the fullness of time had come. Jesus said to His mother at the marriage feast of Cana My time has not yet come. So, there must be something in the timing of things in the kingdom of God. I know that in my own life I have tried to do things that I thought were good things, and no matter how hard I tried that door just would not open.
Then later in a different season, and in God's timing that door would fling open, and I would hear the Word of the Lord beckoning me to walk through that door.
We want things to happen in our timing, we don't want to wait upon the Lord for anything. We don't want to wait on anyone for that matter. When we go to pick someone up, we won't wait even one second,as soon as we pull into the drive,we are already on the horn blowing for them to hurry up,and come out! We use microwaves for everything. Because we don't want to wait. But, the Word says that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
When the Apostle Paul was traveling, and preaching, and teaching there were times when he would have to wait for an open door to minister;because for whatever reason that door at that particular time was closed. I don't know how many times in my own life I have tried to pry a door open, kick it open,or try to just knock it down. The Lord will try to tell you to step away from the door, He will however allow you to step through it if you persist, and insist, but, when we do step through that door, it is as if we feel an eery, just not quite right feeling, and it is as if in the spirit we can hear the door closing, and locking behind us. Which means now that you have stepped through the door, you won't be able to undo it, you won't be able to just turn back around, and walk back thorugh it again, and get instantly out of th mess that you have created for yourself by walking through a door that either was never for you,or just not for you at this time.
But, when God is in it,and He opens the door for you,not only can noone else shut the door, but, when you step through that door, you will feel the presence, and the power of the Holy Ghost upon you, you will feel the warm oil of the anointing of the Lord, and in that moment you will fully realize that this is a God-door. He has prepared you for this door, and for the opportunity that lies just beyond it.
There are different kinds of doors, doors of salvation. Behold I stand at the door and knock, there are doors of deliverance, doors of provision, doors of opportunity, and doors of escape, but, if we don't step through the doors when He opens them, there is always chaos. Because things are out of order. When we learn to be in tune with the Holy Spirit of God,and seek His will, and His face, and truly seek after what He wills us to do,our lives will be alot smoother.
The Lord speaks to me in so many different ways through dreams, visions, people, His word, and oftentimes in just everyday occurances. One day I was getting ready to go to church, and I had a 2-piece blouse to put on. Instead of me putting on the blouse, and then rolling my hair, I rolled my hair, and then tried to put the blouse on over the rollers, which needless to say didn't make for an easy, and smooth transition, and in that moment in my spirit, I heard these words: If you will do things in an orderly fashion, and do things in my timing, you won't meet with as much opposition! It shook me! of course He wasn't talking about getting dressed,or hair rollers,He was giving me an object lesson of how I had gotten the cart before the horse so to speak. When we don't do things in God's order, and in God's timing, we can just get ready for a big mess!
oftentimes as Christians just because we are gifted or have a talent or talents in a certain area,we automatically think that that is what we are supposed to do for the rest of our lives. This is not so! I have had to learn this lesson the hard way.
In the book of Exodus God was instructing Moses how to build the tabernacle, and how everything was to be made, and He said to Moses that He(God) had placed the knowledge of how to do all of the work within the hearts of the people. That was His way of showing them how to do what needed to be done for this particular work, and move of God;but, they didn't do that for the rest of their lives! It was for a short season. We don't like change sometimes. We want to do what we want to do,when we want to do it. All good ideas are not God ideas! Just because something is a good, and moral, and decent idea doesn't mean that it is God's idea or plan for you.
Seek the Lord's will for your life. He has a wonderful, and very specific role for you to play, and He will equip you with everything that you need. Whether it is the finances to do what He has put into your heart to do for the kingdom. It could be a talent or a gift that He gives you to do a specific task, and then when that task or that season is over, it is time to move on to the next chapter in your life. God has a way of moving us on when we wont' do it willingly. Lasy aside the weight that doth so easily beset us. When we read that scripture we usually interpret it to me, that the besetting thing is a sin or a sinful person,or activity. But, that isn't necessasily so. When God is trying to move you on to the next level. He usually drives you into the wilderness just like He did with Jesus, or as we refer to it as the valley, and ther isn't as door that is marked "Now entering the valley" cause if it did say that we would run screaming in the other direction, and would never learn the lessons of the valley. We would never learn that in the valley He restoreth my soul. We would never learn the sacrifice of praise.
God is an on time God. He does things in His time, and He isn't going to stop doing that. He has always been a God of order, He doesn't work in or through chaos. When you see chaos on the move, it is not a move of God, that is without a doubt.
God will not shove you through a door,He will hold it open for you for a while, and if you don't step through it, He will either shut it alltogether, or hold it open for someone else. I wonder how many times we either enter the wrong door, and end up in a place that we never intended or wanted to be or how many times we tried to pry a door open that God didn't want us to open, and when He finally allowed us to open it, we find on the other side nothing but devastation, and grief, and major disapointment. God is a good God,and He will lead, guide, and direct us in all truth. He will never leave us or forsake us,and He has a specific plan for each, and every one of us. Find out what God is calling you to do,and begin to do it. He will give you the desires of your heart;but wait I say, wait upon the Lord. Then your strength will be renewed, and you will soar with the eagles from one plateau to another.
