Who's your daddy?

We are never more like God the Father than when we love the unlovable and speak the truth. He is love and He cannot lie. Jesus told the Pharisees, in John 8:44, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a  murderer from the beginning and he abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it. Wow! now that is some strong language. So, when we lie or do something to make someone to believe a lie, then we are acting just like the devil, the father of lies.

The Word also tells us in Revelations 21:8 that all liars will be put into the lake of fire. Now, I don't know about you, but, that DOES NOT sound like a place that I want to go! I don't want to tell lies and be like the devil. I am going to always tell the truth, no matter what the cost. Some people will actually encourage you to lie on your taxes, on your bills, to a potential mate or any of a number of things, but, those people are not who you will answer to one day. We will all give an account of what we said and did in this body on the earth to God in Heaven, The Word says so in 2 Corinthians 5:10. When we tell lies then, we are acting like the devil and when we tell the truth and walk in love and truth we are acting like God in Heaven.

As Christians, we have been adopted by God the Father and we are now to act, look, dress, smell, talk, walk like Him. We are not to look like the devil any longer. God has brought us out of bondage and into His marvelous light. So, therefore He is now our Father( Abba, Daddy) however you want to say it. We are to be imitators of Him not of the enemy of our souls, the devil! One thing I just cannot abide, is a liar. Oh they get on my last nerve and then I have to ask God to help me deal with them in a kind and responsive way, instead of a rough and reactive kind of way. I want to look at them and say Liar! you are like your father the devil! repent before God casts you into the lake of fire and then I realize that isn't my place and so I pray for them and bless them in the name of the Lord and move on. I have been lied on more than a rug, I tell you right now but, God is on my side and if God be for me, who can be against me? He will fight my battles if I just keep my mind on Him and His perfect peace overtakes me like a flood of joy and nothing that the enemy can say or do even matters even more. When I go into that secret place of the Most High God and just call on Him. I heard Beth Moore say one time that when someone treated her this way, she told on them to her Father. I laughed at first, but, then I thought well..that's exactly what I do as well. I cry out to Him and ask Him to help me. He already knows everything, it's not like you are giving Him new information but, He wants to hear about it and help you. He wants to be your Father (Abba, Daddy).

So..today I guess what I am asking is who is your daddy? Is it the devil, the father of lies? or is it Almighty God that sits on the throne in Heaven?

Milk Teeth

Aren't babies cute when they first get their little teeth? Oh they are so sweet and precious. Up until this time they have been gumming everything that they ingested, which has, for the most part, consisted of mother's milk or formula. But, as the little baby grows they need more to sustain health than just milk so they form teeth and are able with their little "milk teeth" to chew soft things and to digest them.

You wouldn't expect a newborn baby to be able to eat a Porterhouse steak, that would be foolish!
Well...likewise we wouldn't expect a grown person with a full set of permanent teeth to sit around and eat applesauce and mashed bananas and milk either! In the church world this is what we have a whole lot of. We have a bunch of, what should be, full grown Christians that don't eat the meat of the Word, they just want the milk. Oh, they want to hear about how Jesus miraculously saved them and how they can be healed by that same faith, and they love to hear how God is going to prosper them and bless them and their family but, they don't want to hear about how to crucify that old flesh that wants to rise up and run the show from time to time! They don't want to stand and fight the good fight of faith, when the enemy comes at them with full force.

We must learn how to grow our permanent teeth in the Spirit. We must get the Word in our eyes, eat it, digest it, breath it, get it down into our minds and our hearts to be able to mature properly. When we learn how to use those permanent teeth and get hold of God's Word, we will begin to see some good mature spiritual fruit begin to show up in our lives. Some things we struggle with for months and years and when we finally get in that Word and get a revelation from God as to how to overcome that obstacle, then and only then will we be able to move on to the next level.

There have been things in my life that I just couldn't seem to get past. I would think that I had overcome them and then they would rear their ugly heads again and I would be frustrated and angry at myself for not having more self control or not exercising what I knew to do. But, through much prayer, and reading of the Word, and putting into practice what I learned from the Word, those things became easier for me to deal with and to overcome. I still deal with things, as we all do and I am trying daily to grow and to mature into a more Christ- like creature. I want to be not just acceptable to the Lord, but, pleasing to Him and I know that without faith actively working in my life, it isn't possible to please Him. Faith in His ability to help me to overcome my inabilities and inhibitions. Faith in Him to work in and through me to do His good will and for His good service.

I have been born again since 1969 and sometimes I feel like a baby Christian with milk teeth, when I look at the rapidly growing baby Christians around me. I think oh Lord, I truly wish that I would've gotten revelation that quickly and learned these things as readily as some of these babies have. The Lord reminds me that we must all work out our own salvation with fear and trembling and to keep focused on Him and not on others and the early accomplishments that they have acquired. We are all like sheep, the Word says and you know how foolish sheep can be. They are humble yes, and they are pretty and sweet but, they learn slow at best. Today I pray that we all learn to rely on Him to reveal to us through His Word the meat that we need to sustain us in this Spirit walk. I pray that we all get the Revelation of who He is and what He has done for us. Who we are in Christ Jesus. He has made us to be more than overcomers. Let's shed our "milk teeth" and get our permanent chompers so that we can dig in to God's Word and get that good Porterhouse steak that awaits us, in the scriptures. The Word is a veritable smorgasbord of information, education, exhortation, encouragement, guidance for our souls. So..open up your Bible today and let the Lord spread the table before you and eat. 1 Peter 2:2 talks about the newborn babes in Christ, then in Hebrews 5:12 and following talks about the fact that maturing should be coming and the people were still drinking the milk of the Word. Good reading to realize who Jesus is, read the book of John, to realize who you are positionally in Christ Jesus, read the book of Ephesians, there is a scripture for anything that you are going through. Search them out and receive the meat.

Prayer is a weapon

I have heard people say: "Well, all we can do now is pray." As if it was a last resort. Prayer should be the very first thing that we do every morning. Prayer is our communication lines with the Father. The Word says in 1 Peter 3:12, that His eyes are on the righteous and His ears are open to their request. So, now we see that the Lord is ready to listen to us, He is ready to answer our prayers but, He can't answer something we don't ask for. Ask and it shall be given unto you. We will talk for hours to everyone under the sun but, when it comes time to spend some quality one on one time with the Creator of the universe, our God, our Father, we just don't seem to have the time.

Prayer is a weapon against the enemy that the Lord God has favored us with. We can call on Him and He will answer us and show us great and mighty things that we know not, the Word tells us. We have angels encamped around us that are ready to be dispatched at a moments notice. They are just waiting on the Word to come out of our mouths. They have been given charge over us, to protect us, to war for us in the heavenlies. We are joint heirs with Jesus, we are more important to God than we realize. When we call on our Heavenly Father, the enemy of our souls does not have a chance.

Remember when we were kids and if someone messed with us, we would say, "I am going to tell my Daddy!" and we would run and tell our Daddy because we knew that he loved us and would do the right thing. He would protect us, and take up for us. Well...how much more will our Heavenly Father come to our rescue when we need Him to. He loves us so much that He sent His one and only begotten son Jesus, to die on a cruel cross for our sins. He loves us with an everlasting love. He wants to have fellowship with us and always has. The Word tells us that He walked in the cool of the day with Adam and Eve, He fellowshipped with them, was He the one that messed that beautiful garden walk up? Of course not, it was Adam and Eve through direct disobedience to God.

He wants to have fellowship with us. He wants to be our very best friend. You know we all have that special friend that has earned the title of BFF (Best friend forever) and they are human and make mistakes. They may hurt our feelings or do something wrong but, God is a friend that sticks closer than a brother, He loves us forever and protects us, guides us, heals us, provides for us and will never leaves us or forsakes us.

He wants to talk with us. Not only does He want us to come to Him with our requests, He just wants to visit with us. To start our day out with Him. Every morning before my feet hit the floor, I say oh God let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable and pleasing in thy sight oh Lord my strength and my redeemer, that is after we have had a long talk about the day, about any problems that are trying to rise up against me, after I have thanked Him for healing, thanked Him for loving me when I didn't even love myself and for being so good to me.

When I neglect to have that time, I feel empty and dry. We all need to spend more time in prayer. It is not a ritual, it is a relationship. You don't have to be on your knees, although in times He will meet you there, you don't have to have your eyes closed and pray for hours, He just wants to start every day with you. He wants to let you in on secrets, to divulge information about things to come and let you in on the part of the plan that you are ready to receive. We are seated in Heavenly places after all. Our Pastor preached on that just last night. We are already seated in Heavenly places with Jesus, and as He spoke, the Lord spoke to me and said, "Have a seat." I completely understood what He was meaning, He has already provided the seat of authority and we refuse to sit in that seat and take the charge and authority that has been given to us. I am taking my seat today beside Jesus in the Heavenly places. I am more than a conqueror, because He has made me to be so. Prayer (talking to you and with God) is one of the most powerful, and forceful weapons that we have. The power of prayer is an awesome thing. We should be more aware of the authority and the placement that we have in the kingdom of God. We say all the time, know who you are in Christ Jesus, well it is more than what we have thought, it is not just oh I am redeemed, no it is I AM seated in Heavenly places with Him. This is a positional, strategic placement. Jesus is seated above all authorities and principalities. He commands them and they must obey and if we are seated with Him, then we are in a strategic place to take authority over those things that would normally beat us up. Take your seat today and have a talk with your Heavenly Father. He has a very BIG plan and we are part of it.

Light as a feather

Proverbs 15:1 tells us: " A soft answer turns away wrath but, grievous words stir up anger." The Message paraphrase says it like this: " A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire. Oh my, we sure don't want to start a fire with our words! I have seen the time when I would of argued until the bloody end. I just couldn't stand someone trying to, as I thought, rule over me or make me do something that I didn't want to do. I had suffered abuse at the hands of different folks and I had formed that tough girl exterior that wasn't going to let anyone push me around.

I was tired and weary of having to go through the same process over and over again of people taking advantage of me and running over me, never understanding that my harsh words were kindling a fire against me the whole entire time. The words that we speak have either life or death. Now that I know the Word, I know how to speak and when to speak. Does this mean that I never miss speak or get angry? No, it just means that I have, through the power of the Holy Spirit learned to be mindful of the words that come out of my mouth. To control my tongue because the Word tells us in James 3 that the tongue is like a wild horse, and a fire. That tongue can do alot of damage. I have seen marriages broken apart because of harsh words. I have seen sister against sister, brother against brother, child against parent because of words spoken in anger and malice. All the while, I am sure, the devil is laughing.

We must learn to ask the Holy Spirit of God to help us to control our tongue. To speak good words over ourselves and over others. Did you know when you say things like: "You will never amount to anything, or you are just like your daddy, or I hope your kids act as bad as you do, that you are pronouncing a curse over them? Watch your words. They are very powerful. God spoke the worlds into existence and we are made in the likeness and image of God and our words do have creative power. They can speak calmness to a chaotic situation or they can speak anger and malice into a situation. Let's be the soft as a feather folks, that come in and bring peace to a situation. Lets speak kind words, loving words, words of affirmation.

The Word tells us that life and death are in the power of the tongue. This is so true. Watch your words today. This is an area that we could all use work on. The Word tells us that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. In other words, whatever you have allowed to get into your eyes and ears and has gotten into your heart, will eventually come out of your mouth. Guard your heart and mind, the Word tells us, for out of it flow the issues of life. Meditating on the Word, hearing the Word, Reading the Word helps us to be gentle in our responses, and allows us to speak with wisdom, clarity and love. They will know you by your love Jesus told His disciples. Love one another as I have loved you. Jesus didn't yell at people and stir up bitterness and anger. He spoke in love and compassion, even to those that crucified Him. He is our great example. So....let your words be light as a feather today, so they don't wound or bruise those around you.

Keep the J first

The Word tell us in Nehemiah 8:10, that The joy of the Lord is our strength. So... to have our strength, we must maintain our joy. Joy is a choice, we have to daily arise and say today I will choose to be joyful. This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice (be joyful) and be glad in it, Psalm 118:24 actually says, let us rejoice and be glad in it. So there once again, it is a choice. We must choose to be joyful. Although joy is a fruit of the Spirit and as a born again child of God with His God nature we possess joy, we still must choose to cultivate it in our daily lives.

Anything that we have in the Spirit we must cultivate through prayer and reading and hearing the Word of God for it to manifest in our natural lives. When I was a child and going to church, I had some wonderful teachers. I can remember that in our room there was a sign on the wall that spelled out J- O- Y  Jesus first, Others second and Yourself last. This was the way to have and maintain joy. Although that was such a very long time ago, I can still see that little sign hanging on the wall of my consciousness and when I see it, I say yes Lord I will keep you first. When we keep Him first, everything else in this life falls into place. When we try to get the cart before the horse, so to speak, we end up in trouble and certainly not feeling very joyful. We try to do thing in our own way and in our own strength and we find out real fast that it just doesn't work that way. The Word tells us that He will keep us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed or focused on Him, Isaiah 26:3

In other words, the J must come first. When we get others or ourselves before Jesus, we can't get anything else in our lives to work right. He is our Redeemer, our Good Shepherd and He knows what is best for us. When we keep Him first, He will keep us in peace because He is the prince of peace. His favor will surround us like a shield, He will go before us and make the crooked paths straight and He will hear and answer our prayers. He has given us so many wonderful things and joy is one of them.

Sometimes when we look around us at all of the terrible things that are going on in the world right now and things that are going on in our families with our children, grandchildren, our jobs, friends, we might become discouraged but, if we keep the J first, we will have joy unspeakable and full of glory. No matter what the circumstances are around us we will be able to maintain that Spirit fruit of joy. When we realize how truly BIG our God is and how much He loves us and the great price that He paid for our redemption, we will be joyful. We don't have to be jumping up and down and dancing to be joyful. It's just a wonderful knowing that is inside your spirit, that says everything is going to be allright because my God is on the throne and He is in complete and total control and He loves me with an everlasting love, that will make you have joy! Let's keep the J first and the rest of our lives will spell out JOY!

Is your cup upside down?

I used to be a waitress, back in the day, well now they are called "servers" and we were taught to serve people well. When pouring coffee into someone's cup you filled it as far as they wanted and then you stopped. Some people wanted 1/2 a cup and some people wanted a full cup and some folks would turn their cup upside-down so that you couldn't or wouldn't pour any coffee at all into their cup.  I have thought of that often over the years, because that is how we do the Lord sometimes.
He is trying to fill our cup and we refuse to receive it. He can only give us what we will receive. If we are not willing to allow Him to fill our cups with blessings, He will not force a blessing upon us. We have to prepare for the blessing, prepare to receive from God. If we are in need of something, we need to pray the word, God I know that your word says that you will supply all of my needs according to Your riches in glory, Phil 4:19 and God I believe your word, and I am expecting you to work on my behalf. Now see, you have just prepared for your cup to be filled. But, on the other hand, if you are preparing for defeat and for lack and trouble to come into your life, I can assure you it will come and it will stay until you chase it away. Prepare for the blessing, not for the curse.
Tithing, giving and sowing is a way to prepare for the blessing to come into your life. The word says that the Lord rebukes the fowler for our sakes when we tithe. The best description of the word fowler (one who lays a trap) or devourer is "Seed-eater", so, in essence when we tithe and give into the Lord's work and into His kingdom's purposes, He comes out into our field, and does the work in the spirit of a scarecrow and chases the Seed-eating crows out of our life, and off of our freshly planted seed. God is a rewarder, He is a good God, and when you do what He says, He always honors His own word. The Word tells us in Hebrews 11:6 that God is that Rewarder to those that diligently seek Him. Prepare to receive the blessing.
I was always taught as a child growing up to give and to tithe, but, I was never taught to receive. The word clearly says: give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom,Luke 6:38 that's the king James version, that's a picture of the old-timey way of making wine, using a huge basket to pour the grapes into the wine-press, then pressing the grapes down, shaking them down, and continually repeating the process to the overflowing point. Wow, that is awesome! Just because we would do what God says, He would cause all of this goodness to come into our lives. He could force us to do as we are told. He could make us to obey Him,but, He would rather us do it because we love HIm,and want to please Him,and as a bonus, He blesses us for doing what we should do anyway. God is so good to us.
I am learning now to receive, and am now trying to help others to realize how to do the same. It is so simple really, we just make it hard. Why? mostly because, we feel unworthy, I think. But, we have the righteousness of God, in Jesus Christ, and through His shed blood we have been made clean, and whole. We are not unworthy. We are children of the most high God,and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. What a wonderful thing. God has provided a way for us to be reconciled to Him,which just means that we are in right relationship with Him because of what Jesus did for us on the cross. He closed in the gap, between us,and the Father. Thank you Jesus for your unspeakable gift, and thank you for giving to us daily. You go before us,and make our crooked paths straight. You cause Goodness, and mercy to follow us all the days of our lives, and you have given us all the tools that we need to live victoriously for You! What a great, and awesome Lord you are! You load us up with benefits daily, Psalm 68:19and you sing over us, Zephaniah 3:17 your mercies are new every morning, and your grace is sufficient for us. Is your cup upside-down? If it is, turn it right-side up,and watch God fill your cup to the overflowing point. Learn to receive from the Lord, He loves a cheerful giver, and He also loves when we learn to receive from Him as well. Luke11:13 tells us that Just as an earthly father wants to give good gifts, how much more does our heavenly Father want to give us good gifts. Every good and perfect gift comes from Him, James 1:17 tells us. We just have to learn how to receive what He is trying to give us.
BELIEVE, ASK, RECEIVE

Guilty no more!

Do you ever feel condemned? Even though you have asked God to forgive your sins and you have received Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord? That's just the enemy of your soul, the old accuser of the brethren trying to come at you with that accusatory spirit,Rev 12:10 Well...no more! You have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!, 2 Cor 5:21, You don't live under the law of sin and death anymore. You are a child of the Most High God and joint heirs with His son Jesus. You have been redeemed from your old life and now the Word says behold all things are become new, 2 Cor 5:17, you are like a beautiful butterfly that has just come out of its chrysalis, you are now ready to take flight in your new life with Christ.

Don't let anyone tell you that your sins are still being held against you, God has thrown your sins into the sea to never to be remembered against you anymore, The Word says in 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." not some sins but ALL SINS. So, when the enemy comes at you, just tell him, my sins have been forgiven, I am redeemed from the curse. We don't have to go through life feeling beat down, remembering our old past and our old way of life. Yes, it is good to remember and be grateful from where God brought us but, we don't have to live there anymore. Thanks be to God, He has removed our sins as far as the East is from the West, Psalm 103:12 tells us.

So rejoice today, because as long as you are walking in the light as He is in the light you will have fellowship with Him and the blood of Jesus Christ His son cleanses you from every sin, as long as you walk in the light with Him,1 John 1:7, He isn't remembering your sins against you anymore. He sees you as covered by the blood of His precious son Jesus, He sees you forgiven, redeemed, priceless, a child of the Most High God. Don't let what others say or do make you have that old sin consciousness any more. Someone may say, well, I know some things about you, you have some skeletons in your closet that you don't want anyone to know about, well...just tell them the old dried up skeleton bones in my closet have the blood of Jesus on them and they don't hinder me anymore. My guilt is gone hallelujah!! I AM REDEEMED!

By His stripes

Every morning before I get out of bed, I begin to thank the Lord for healing. I say out loud, " I apply the stripes of Jesus today, thank you Lord, I will not let your stripes be in vain." He took those stripes for our healing and the Word tell us so. In Isaiah 53:5, the prophet speaks of our Redeemer, Jesus saying, "He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed." Again in the New Testament Peter says in 1 Peter 2:24 "He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By His wounds you are healed. (NLT)

Some people don't believe that we can walk in health, healing and wholeness but, I do. I have walked in sickness and disease and I have walked in healing and I like the healing better. When I apply the stripes of Jesus, a calming, healing, soothing feeling comes over me. I don't want to be snared by the words of my own mouth and talk about the pain, the sickness or disease that is trying to come upon me. I speak healing over my body. The Word works if you work it. God is not moved by need or their would never be one. He is moved by faith. He is moved by the faith that is in your heart toward Him and the faith filled words that are coming out of your mouth. He took a severe beating and suffered many things for my healing and I am going to take it, I will not let His stripes be in vain.

God's word is truth and I intend to not only believe what it says but, to act upon it, if the Word says I am healed, then I am healed. No matter what things look like in the natural. I AM HEALED! Here are some healing scriptures that I speak out over myself, The Word is like medicine, so take it! John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. But, the Lord came that I might have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows) Psalm 103:2-5 I gratefully praise the Lord and do not forget all His benefits. He forgives all my iniquities and heals all my diseases. He redeems my life from the pit and corruption. He beautifies, dignifies and crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercy. Are you feeling better already? I am. Let's go further....Proverbs 4:20-22 I attend to God's Word and submit to His sayings. I will keep them in my sight, and in the center of my heart. They are life to me, and healing to my whole body. Oh that's good news. Psalm 91:9-10, 14-16: Because I have made the Lord my refuge, and the Most High my dwelling place, there shall no evil befall me, nor any plague or calamity come near my house. Because I have set my love on the Lord, therefore He delivers me. He sets me securely on high, because I have known His Name. I call upon the Lord and He answers me. God is with me in trouble. He delivers and honors me. With long life He will satisfy me and show me His salvation. 2 Timothy 1:7 Gos has not given me a spirit of timidity and fear. He has given me a spirit of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind, discipline and self-control.  Isaiah 40:29,31: God gives power to me when I am faint and weary. In my weakness, He increases strength in me. I wait for Him (expect, look for and hope in Him) and He renews my strength and power. I will lift up with wings of strength and rise as an eagle. I shall run and not be weary, I shall walk and not faint or become tired.  2 Corinthians 10:3-5 Even though I have a physical body, I will not carry on warfare according to the flesh, using mere human weapons. The weapons of my warfare are not physical (weapons of flesh and blood), they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds. I refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God, and I lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ. This is very important because the enemy will try to talk to you and tell you that you are not healed, that this isn't for you, it passed away with the apostles and all sorts of lies. But stand firm on the Word and believe and receive your healing. Philippians 4:6-7 I will not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, continue to make my requests know to God. God's peace which transcends all understanding, shall garrison and mount guard over my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. These are just a few of the wonderful words that we find in the Bible pertaining to our healing, our deliverance and keeping us safe from the enemy.

God doesn't desire for us to walk in this life as a wreck of a person. Barely able to walk, always having headaches, always being depressed or sick. He came that we might have life and more abundantly but, we have to choose that life and guard it with our hearts and minds. The Word says as a man thinks in his heart so is he. When we constantly dwell on all that is trying to go wrong with our bodies, our situation or our families situation, what are we feeding our hearts and minds? Fill up your eyes, your ears, your hearts with the Word of God and that is what will guide you into all truth, into divine healing, prosperity, deliverance, protection and every good and perfect gift that comes from the Father of lights above. He wants us to be well, so that we can do His work in this earth realm. So be healed in Jesus name!

LISTEN TO THE WIND WORDS

In my Bible reading this morning, I was reading Revelation 1 & 2, and when I read I go back and forth between different translations and try to get a really good understanding of what the Word is saying.
Today I was looking back and forth at the different translations and I took a look at the Message paraphrase and came across this:
29 “Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches.” and it gripped me. We are waiting on a huge clamor from the Lord in these last days, we are expecting some grand awakening and He is like a soft wind blowing through the churches, speaking His wind words, you can see what He is doing, but, you can't see Him. I thought yes Lord, blow through our churches blow on us, fill us to the overflowing with your precious Holy Spirit. We are listening, speak to us. Tell us what you would have us to do in these last days. Sometimes when we see all the evil that is going on in our world, we think that nothing that we could do at this point would make any significant change or difference but, that is just not true.

We can make a HUGE impact on that 1 person. That 1 lost soul that is looking, seeking desperately for HELP! That 1 soul that is lost and doesn't know how to be found. We may never preach to the millions or travel the world abroad and do as Reinhard Bunke or some of the other world renown ministers but, we can minister to that lady in the Walmart that is struggling to pay her bills, or that man at the gas station that feels beat down because he just lost his job and doesn't know what he is going to do to feed and provide for his family. To that teenager that is addicted to drugs and can't believe that there is a way out. We forget that Jesus went after the 1, that 1 lost sheep. He left the 99 and went looking for the 1 and that is what we are to do, listen to the wind words of the Holy Spirit that is saying seek the 1. Seek the 1 that will hear my voice and will come in child-like repentance to me. Seek the 1 that feels all alone and is scared. Show them the love of God. Show them that there is a way, that way is Jesus Christ, the 1 that died for our sins, that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

Let me encourage you today. You can be the 1 that reaches 1. Listen to the wind words that is blowing through the churches. I am coming soon, reach them while you can. Work while it is day, for the night comes when no man can work. One day the lion will lie down with the lamb and there will be peace. Until then we will go out into the highways and the hedges and compel them to come in. Compel them to seek the Lord while He may be found. This thing is wrapping up folks and we don't have much time. Let's amend the time and use every minute of every day to it's fullest. On your job, be a shining light for Him, directing others to the ONE that can save, heal and deliver. In your family be that salt that makes others thirsty for God. In your community be that light on a hill that points people to the cross of Jesus. Be the 1 that hears the wind words and obeys................

“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches.”

DID YOU GET MY REQUEST?

Did you get my request?
Years ago, I worked in medical records in a hospital in Alabama. I was a file clerk which consisted of answering the phone and taking requests for medical records. We had to look up the records on the computer and then go find them and then make copies and fax, or hand -deliver them to the doctors or technicians.
Some people are extremely impatient, to say the very least and they would only give you like 10minutes and then they would be calling you back and saying did you get my request? I sent it and I haven't heard anything yet. Now, if this was the first or second time of the day, it was a little humorous really, because they had no idea what the job entailed and how long it took to look up and to retrieve and deliver medical records, not to mention that hundreds of calls, faxes and the like were constantly flowing into our office.
They would of course act as if their request was the only one of the entire day and it needed our entire staff, if need be to fill that request immediately if not sooner.
Isn't this just like us? We pray about something one time and then we get frustrated when it doesn't get answered immediately. In the kingdom of God everything is based on God's timing, not ours. We with our little finite minds can't even comprehend the vastness of the entire world and that millions of people are praying at the same time, at any given time. What a mighty God we serve! He can hear everyone at the same time. He is omnipresent and can be at all places at the same time and he is omniscient as well, knowing all things. We should be ashamed really when we give up on God just before He delivers to us exactly what we are believing for, or just what we need, when we need it.
In medical records we would have these nurses that would call and want records for patients that were not in the office at the time, in fact the patient might not be going to be in the office for several more days; but, they wanted it right now. So, they would try to lie and act as if the patient was right there in the office, meanwhile patients in the ER that were in peril of losing their lives were expected to be put on the back burner while we went and got records for patients with non life-threatening illnesses.Of course me being me, I would ask them: Is the patient in the office now? Because, we have to fill requests according to a need status and of course someone having a heart cath right now, would take priority over say, a patient that isn't in the office and won't be for another day or two. Then most of the time, they would admit the truth and I would take their request and put it on the back burner, so to speak where it belonged. Aren't we glad that God isn't any respecter of persons? He fills our requests as we need them, not when we think we need them or want them for that matter. When we learn to wait for His perfect timing, things go so much smoother for us and we learn patience and perseverance while we are waiting. It's kind of like waiting in a doctor’s office, since, you know that you are going to be waiting, why not bring a book to read, instead of sitting there fuming because you are being made to wait? God knows all things and He knows exactly what we need and when we need it. We need to learn to wait on Him. The Word says they that wait on the Lord shall renew their wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and faint not, Isaiah 40:31, I want to be renewed don't you? I want to learn to wait on the Lord and let Him do for me what needs to be done. His will takes preeminence in my life and I am so grateful to Him for giving me the time to learn the things that He has been trying to teach me all of these many years now. He is a good God, He is faithful, He is just and He never makes a mistake. Many times when I would be frustrated to the point of crying out to God, why is this happening to me? I would hear His still small voice within me say. Sit down, calm down and just let me finish my work. Sometimes that is the hardest thing in the world to do. Just to sit and wait. I feel like an impatient child sometimes saying are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? All the while the Lord in His goodness and mercy keeps saying not yet child. Not yet. We will be there soon. Why don't you just sit back and relax and when we get there I will let you know O.K.? We can always be confident in knowing that He is definitely working on our requests and petitions. He is doing what needs to be done and in the order that it needs to be done in. There are so many things that we will never understand this side of Heaven; but, He knows and He will do what is best for us. The Word says Call on the Lord and He will answer and show you great and mighty things that you know not, sometimes I sign off my facebook account with that almost every night. I think that people need to realize that God is listening and waiting for us to call out to Him. He loves us and He wants to do good things for us. To shower us with favor and blessings; but, along with the goodness, comes many lessons that sometimes are hard to learn and to accept. But, He is definitely working all things out for our good and for His glory. Thank you God that you are working on my requests.
